Portfolio entrepreneur. Investor. SaaS pioneer. Small-business growth expert. Author. Speaker. Kitesurfer. Family dude.
Here's the short version.
I've built a handful of software companies, co-authored a bestselling book with Steve Forbes, and spent twenty years helping small businesses turn marketing automation into actual results. That's the resume.
It's not the interesting part.
The interesting part? I learned most of what I know about business getting dragged face-first across the ocean on a kiteboard. I almost killed my first company more than once... we went four months without paying ourselves, and once had $186,000 locked up by American Express for nearly a year. And the story I'm most proud of has nothing to do with software. It's about a packet of my grandfather's photos, lost in a Normandy field after D-Day in 1944, and the young woman in France who spent three years trying to find my family.
The businesses pay the bills. The stories are the good part. So the good part goes first.
Truth is, I just like connecting with people. I love advising, consulting, and coaching founders who are ready to move... and I'm usually up for a speaking gig, a podcast, or the occasional short-term advisory engagement. If any of that sounds like you, say hello. Worst case, you'll make a friend who kitesurfs. :-)
